ABOUT ME
I’m Dr. Anita Freimann – proudly known as the Doctor of Happiness. I am the author of Courage on the Path to Happiness, founder of the 3H Food concept (Happy, Healthy, Hedonic), and the Institute for Happiness.
From 2006 to 2023, I worked as an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Economics in Osijek, where my PhD research in the economics of happiness focused on well-being, happiness indices, and how societies can create a higher quality of life. Over the years, I have shared my work as a speaker at international conferences, on TV and radio shows, and through articles and content that make science both practical and inspiring in everyday life.
My endless curiosity and passion for learning are matched only by my greatest mission: to explore what it truly means to live a meaningful and happy life – and to empower others to do the same. I believe happiness is not about avoiding challenges, but about finding the courage to face them. Sometimes, we must break ourselves into pieces in order to put ourselves back together stronger than before. It may sound frightening – but it is not. I’ve done it, and so can you.
Through my coaching and consulting work, I collaborate with governments, companies, and communities – from Croatia to Dubai – to design strategies that bring well-being into workplaces, cities, and everyday life. My speaking engagements bring together science, practical wisdom, and heartfelt motivation to inspire positive change.
If you’re ready, I invite you to discover the 12 life challenges we all encounter in different ways. You can explore them in my video, and in greater depth in my book – with the first part available for free.
🌱 Change may not always be easy, but it is always worth it.
And on this path to happiness – you are never alone.
With love,
Dr. Anita Freimann – The Happiness Doctor
